Aston Martin’s mysterious Vulcan lives up to its name with a fiery Geneva Auto Show teaser

Teasers before an auto show are a part of the game: A manufacturer drops hints via video or still image to get us excited for its new… whatever they’re showing. Some of it is stuff we expect but sometimes, as is the case with Aston Martin  and its teaser for the Vulcan, we don’t know what’s headed our way.

The only thing official that has come from Aston Matin themselves is the name and the above video showing the rear of the car illuminating itself with the flames spat forth by the double barreled side mounted exhausts as it revs in perpetuity.

We can also see a massive fixed wing on the back, implying that whatever Vulcan is, it plans to pull some track duty. An article from Top Gear Magazine corroborates this, as they report to have eked some info from its own sources within Aston Martin,

According to them, the track-only supercar will be the most extreme car Aston Martin has ever made. It will also supposedly have an extremely limited run.

Apart from that, all we can do is hypothesize. “Most extreme” would seem to imply an engine output and/or top speed that we’ve never seen from an Aston Martin before. This suggests something that would top the One-77, Aston’s limited edition supercar that sported a 7.3-liter V12 that produced 750 horsepower that could supposedly push it to a 220 mph top speed.

Mercifully, the 2015 Geneva Auto Show is right around the corner, so we won’t have to wait too long to see just what craziness the Vulcan can cook up.

Kia EV4: everything we know so far
Kia EV4 Front

Kia is continuing to expand its electric car lineup. The EV6 and EV9 have both been out for some time now, and the company is in the middle of rolling out the EV3 in Europe, with a North American release expected next year. After that, it's likely the company will turn to the EV5. But what about after that? Well, that could be where the Kia EV4 comes in.

Kia announced a concept version of the EV4 at its EV Day in 2023, showing off a futuristic-looking hatchback that's seemingly a little smaller than the EV6, but keeps many design elements. Since then, Kia has confirmed very few details about it, though we have seen it shown off at other automotive events. Here's everything we know about the Kia EV4 so far.
Kia EV4 design
The Kia EV4, or at least the concept version of it, is smaller than the EV6, and much smaller than the EV9. It's actually closer in size to a sedan than anything else, though with its open trunk, it could be considered a hatchback. Regardless, it certainly blurs the line between the two. So much so, that in recent months we've actually seen a full hatchback version of the EV4 being tested -- and it's possible that Kia is pivoting the design of the EV4 entirely to be a hatch, or will be releasing both hatchback and sedan versions.
