Earlier this week we brought you news that Italian supercar maker Lamborghini could be working on a SUV for production sometime in 2017. Reports coming out of Germany even hinted that a concept could show up at this month’s Beijing Auto Show.

It appears those reports were indeed true. Auto website CAR has confirmed the latest from Sant’Agata Bolognese will in fact be revealed in China after having received an invitation from Lamborghini for a chance see the new concept in Beijing.

The invitation is little more than an outline of the yet-to-be named crossover Lamborghini. Rumors have already been circling the web with China Car Times recently suggesting the vehicle would be called the Urus upon its arrival. While Urus doesn’t exactly evoke the type of raw emotion that a name like Diablo does, the Italian automaker has a tradition of naming its sportscars after Spanish fighting bulls. You might remember that Lamborghini recently trademarked the name Deimos though, so that too is a possibility.

Aside from the name, we still know very little about Lamborghini’s next model. The ultra high-end SUV looks as if it will be a derivative of parent company Volkswagen’s Touareg crossover — much like the Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne. However it’s hinted that the high-riding Lambo will utilize a revamped version of the Gallardo’s V10 gasoline engine, pumping out 584 horsepower.

Whatever name is finally bestowed upon the three-door crossover Lamborghini, expect a price in the very affordable region of $200,000.

Kia EV4: everything we know so far
Kia EV4 Front

Kia is continuing to expand its electric car lineup. The EV6 and EV9 have both been out for some time now, and the company is in the middle of rolling out the EV3 in Europe, with a North American release expected next year. After that, it's likely the company will turn to the EV5. But what about after that? Well, that could be where the Kia EV4 comes in.

Kia announced a concept version of the EV4 at its EV Day in 2023, showing off a futuristic-looking hatchback that's seemingly a little smaller than the EV6, but keeps many design elements. Since then, Kia has confirmed very few details about it, though we have seen it shown off at other automotive events. Here's everything we know about the Kia EV4 so far.
Kia EV4 design
The Kia EV4, or at least the concept version of it, is smaller than the EV6, and much smaller than the EV9. It's actually closer in size to a sedan than anything else, though with its open trunk, it could be considered a hatchback. Regardless, it certainly blurs the line between the two. So much so, that in recent months we've actually seen a full hatchback version of the EV4 being tested -- and it's possible that Kia is pivoting the design of the EV4 entirely to be a hatch, or will be releasing both hatchback and sedan versions.
