Adult Swim Games, now owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, has delisted even more of its games on Steam. Zenzizenzic, Traverser, Super House of Dead Ninjas, and Mega Coin Squad will disappear from the platform on July 15.

This news comes from a statement that was posted on each of the games’ pages (as spotted by PCGamesN). The note is the same on each, announcing that Adult Swim Games would no longer be the publisher, with the developer unable to take over management of the page. The statement reads as follows.

Adult Swim is no longer able to continue as publisher for this game and the developer is not available to take over as publisher at this time. As a result, [game title inserted] will be shut down on July 15th, 2024.

Super House of Dead Ninjas studio Megadev (now Bitmap Bureau), said on X (formerly Twitter) that it’s looking into buying back the IP rights for the game, but hasn’t received a reply from Warner Bros. The original Zenzizenzic, Mega Coin Squad, and Traverser developers are no longer in operation.

Adult Swim titles started getting delisted in March. Polygon interviewed affected developers, who had seemingly different experiences with Warner Bros. Discovery. Soundodger+‘s Michael Molinari said that a representative wouldn’t transfer ownership back to him. Owen Deery of Small Radios, Big Televisions put up the game to download for free after receiving the news it would get delisted.

It appeared Warner Bros. Discovery reversed the decision in May, returning ownership of Soundodger+ and Small Radios to the developers.

Adult Swim Games has been basically a defunct arm of the late-night Cartoon Network channel since its last game, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, released in 2020. The website is still up, but hasn’t been updated since then.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Discovery is still in the video game business, focusing on established IP and live service with the character fighting game MultiVersus, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Nvidia is missing a golden opportunity in PC gaming
Assassin's Creed Mirage on the MSI Claw handheld.

There's a rising tide of handheld gaming PCs, and Nvidia is missing out on the action. The push of handhelds into the mainstream started with some purpose-built AMD systems on a chip (SoCs), but now Intel is joining the fray with its Meteor Lake platform. Out of the big three, only one company is missing: Nvidia.

Nvidia probably isn't too concerned with making an SoC for handhelds -- after all, it was AI that pushed it to become a trillion-dollar company -- and it's a long shot that the company would ever make one. With that in mind, consider what follows to be wishful thinking because Nvidia could make one insane SoC for handheld gaming PCs.

PS Plus members can cloud stream PS5 games in 4K later this month
Aloy stands on a mountain in Horizon Forbidden West.

PS Plus Premium is adding a new feature next month that will allow subscribers to cloud stream select PlayStation 5 games. The initial list includes heavy hitters like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West. Sony is targeting an October 30 launch in North America.

Cloud streaming has been one of the primary selling points of PS Plus since its relaunch last year. Subscribers can use the feature to access several games in the service's catalog, including PlayStation 3 games. The new feature will now extend that technology to newer PS5 releases, with Sony saying it plans to make "hundreds" of games streamable.

Try these 6 excellent, free PC game demos during Steam Next Fest
A train passes a windmill in Station to Station

Every couple of months, Valve holds a Steam Next Fest event on Steam. During that time, lots of indie developers briefly release demos of their upcoming titles to gain more in-development feedback on their games and build some prelaunch hype for the titles. We love trying out some of these games and rounding up our favorites each time a Steam Next Fest rolls around. This year, we've already talked about how two climbing game demos really stuck out to us, but that's not all that's worth checking out.
There were six more indie game demos that we tried and fell in love with during the June 2023 Steam Next Fest. From a sci-fi hospital sim that's full of character to a game about cleaning up trash and gunk underwater, these are six of our favorite Steam Next Fest games that you should check out before the event ends at 10 a.m. PT on June 26.
Saltsea Chronicles

The latest game from Mutazione and Sportsfriends developer Die Gute Fabrik, Saltsea Chronicles is an adventure game about the motley crew of a ship looking for their captain throughout a flooded world. Digital Trends actually had the chance to try the demo early at Summer Game Fest Play Days this year. We came away impressed with its witty writing and gorgeous art, and we were even surprisingly good at its optional card game called Spoils. If you're a fan of adventure games, definitely give this demo a shot.
Saltsea Chronicles is in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 5. It will be released sometime later this year.
