All three of Titanfall‘s downloadable content expansions are currently free on Xbox One and Xbox 360, according to a tweet from developer Respawn Entertainment. The three expansions are also listed as free on publisher Electronic Arts’ Origin site for Windows download. The promotion marks the one year anniversary of the game’s initial release, on March 11, 2014.

DEAL: All Titanfall DLCs are available for FREE on both Xbox One and Xbox 360! Visit the Xbox Live Marketplace to see the deal!

Expedition, Frontier’s Edge, and IMC Rising usually cost $10 each, or $25 combined as part of the season pass, but each is listed as free for the time being. It is not clear how long the promotion will last and neither Microsoft nor EA has formally announced the deal.

Titanfall shook up first-person shooters with a revitalized sense of motion, creating “fast-moving yet accessible multiplayer action.” The initial release felt lacking, with only a handful of maps and modes to choose from, but with three expansions available now for free, there’s no better time to get into the game’s pilot-vs-mech action.

Recent rumors have suggested that Respawn started work on a sequel. Unlike the first game, which launched as an Xbox console exclusive, sources at EA suggested that the sequel would launch on a wider range of platforms, allowing a larger audience to join in on the fun.

Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, and more will cameo in free Astro Bot DLC
A Helldivers bot flossing next to a Stellar Blade bot on a beach.

PlayStation opened its September State of Play presentation with a little surprise for Astro Bot fans. Developer Team Asobi announced that it will be adding 10 new bots to the game for free later this fall.

Astro Bot is filled with bots of popular PlayStation characters and iconography, so the new bots will certainly follow that same trend. We don't know the full list (studio head Nicolas Doucet said there will be more information soon), but the trailer introduced Eve from Stellar Blade and a helldiver from Helldivers 2.

Stellar Blade developer being sued over… the name Stellar Blade
EVE stares at an enemy in Stellar Blade.

Stellar Blade has been the subject of some strange controversies since its release in late April, but one of the strangest has to be a recent lawsuit filed against developer Shift Up and Sony that claims its name is guilty of trademark infringement.

IGN reports that the lawsuit was filed in a Louisiana court earlier this month by Griffith Chambers Mehaffey, the owner of film production company called Stellarblade LLC. His lawyers claim that he's been using stellarblade.com since 2006, and that his company has existed since 2010. However, the game's release has made it tougher for people to find information about his business.

Don’t expect PlayStation to abandon consoles for PCs any time soon
A PS5 sits on a table with a DualSense standing up next to it.

Sony has recently had a lot of success publishing its first-party PlayStation 5 games to PC, but that doesn't mean the company is going to become a PC company first.

In an interview with Japanese publication Nikkei (via Video Games Chronicle), Hideaki Nishino, head of Sony Interactive Entertainment's Platform Business Group, said that that Sony will continue to make content for PCs, but "there is no doubt" that consoles will continue to be the priority.
